July 25, 2017A summary judgment was recently obtained by the firm on behalf of a defendant plumbing company in a subrogation lawsuit filed against it in the Russell Circuit Court by the insurer of a homeowner due to damage caused to a home by a frozen water pipe. The Court found that the plumber, pursuant to an agreement with the general contractor, owed no duty to insulate the pipes at issue.
